The 26th AGM of the Canadian Women in Timber took place on October 24th in Richmond, BC. Our event always starts with a Friday evening social - this year it was hosted by our newest branch - Vancouver Island. These creative ladies put on an Island themed spread of locally sourced cheese and beer! We also had a guest speaker. Nicole Boyer, a Kwantlen fashion student, showcased her line of women's forestry work clothes. Her designs demonstrated a keen understanding of the functional needs of work wear while focusing on the female figure and fashion trends. #video
